Below is a list of our current and future ceremony fees. The fee that you will be charged for your ceremony will be for the year in which it takes place, not the year of booking. For marriage and civil partnerships, the change does not include a certificate. This will be added on at the point of booking. Additional certificates can be purchased after the event at a charge of £12.50 each.

The fee for each ceremony type is determined by the days and times they are available along with the level of personalisation offered.

These fees are for the ceremony only – if you wish to hold your ceremony at one of approved, licenced venues it is important to check direct what the venue hire and/or reception package costs are. Notice fees are also charged independently of any ceremony costs. Any charges arising from an approved venue or independent supplier are to be paid separately and in addition to the Registrar ceremony fees detailed below.

Current and future fees

*The fee for statutory ceremonies is set by the General Register Officer (GRO) and is subject to change. If the GRO apply an annual increase which takes effect before your ceremony date you will be asked to pay the difference in cost.

Please note: A 15% deposit will be required to secure all non-statutory ceremony bookings. An advanced booking fee of £75 will also apply to all ceremony bookings made more than 12 months in the future. These fees are non-refundable and non-transferable should you wish to cancel or amend the booking date or venue. The full ceremony fee needs to be paid no later than 6 weeks prior to the ceremony date.
