Occasions Telford

Approved venues can be licensed for a four year period within the borough of Telford & Wrekin through the Council Registration team to hold secular weddings, civil partnerships, baby namings and renewal of vows ceremonies.

To gain approval, the proprietor or trustee of the venue must apply to us for permission and read through the guidance notes carefully before submitting their application. Approvals given will be valid for four years.

You can apply to renew your licence if it expires within a calendar year.

Four year licence fee

• £2,460 – licence to hold a ceremony - any day, including bank holidays, within the hours of 8am to 6pm

Please note: Only card payments can be taken by the Registration Service. We are unable to take cash payments.
